General Director of UDC Holding Leonid Bogdanov met with Shariah Chair in Islamic Law & Finance Dr. Habib Ahmed in Durham University (Durham, Great Britain). Dr. Habib Ahmed confirmed his participation in conference "Investment opportunities in Ukraine".

On the 14th of October in the framework of the conference Dr. Habib Ahmed will deliver a lecture on the subject "Basic tools and special features of Islamic financing".

Habib Ahmed is a Shariah Chair in Islamic Law & Finance in Durham University (Great Britain). He taught at the University of Connecticut, USA, National University of Singapore, and University of Bahrain. Dr. Habib Ahmed is an author of more than 30 publications, among which are articles published international journals, research works, monographs and books. Today in the sphere of his main scientific interests are Islamic economy and financing.
