European Bank for Reconstruction and Development states that the economies of the Central and Eastern European Countries are slowly coming out from crisis.

EBRD improved forecasts on the economies of this region, except Romania and Bulgaria, which, as the bank's experts believe, will restore more slowly than it was previously thought, reports BBC.

Overall improvement of the GDP growth rate for Central and Eastern European Countries is about 0.5% and till the end of 2010 should reach 3.7% according to the EBRD estimates.

The major economy in the region is Russian and its growth is expected to be 4.4%, it's on 0.5% more than the bank's specialists predicted earlier this year.

Ukraine also belongs to Central and Eastern European Countries and as the EBRD thinks their economies will recover more quickly.

New forecasts of the bank experts regarding Ukraine is 4% of annual GDP growth, which is on 1% higher from the previous estimates.

"In Ukraine, which in 2009 suffered the biggest drop among all economies of the region, the situation is improving now. The expectations of market participants regarding Ukraine have improved after the election and the resumption of negotiations with the International Monetary Fund", - says the EBRD statement dedicated to revision of economic forecasts.

As it is known, Ukraine expects to receive from the IMF up to 19 billion dollars under a new cooperation program.

The arrival of the Fund's new mission to Kyiv is expected this week.
