Ukr.Asia Business Forum united Ukrainian entrepreneurs and businessmen seeking innovative ways to develop their businesses, capital market professionals, financial managers of leading corporations, investment and portfolio managers, representatives of asset management companies, consultants that manage private equity and venture capital funds, investment bankers and provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and experience, to become informed on the global economic situation and to establish new useful business contacts.

Business Forum was held in the format of one-day conference, during which the presentations were made by the government representatives, leading companies of Ukraine, business owners and managers with experience of successful cooperation with Asian countries and intention to share it. Among the speakers were UDC Holding representatives, who shared their knowledge of establishing business relations with companies from Middle East and North Africa and featured a presentation: Investment potential of Ukraine. Islamic Finance as an alternative source of investment.

This event showed that Ukrainian business in the conditions of global financial crises is searching new sources of investments and export markets. Ukraine in cooperation with Asian countries can overcome the economic crises: China, India, Malaysia and Japan form a new center of world economy, which, as some experts believe, may become an alternative to USA and Europe.
